Mercedes-Benz Repair in San Jose, CA
Mercedes-Benz factory maintenance and repair with dealer-level diagnostics, OEM-quality parts and a written estimate before any work.
Why a Mercedes-Benz specialist matters
A Mercedes-Benz is a heavily engineered car, with many control modules, maker-specific fluids and, on some models, air suspension. Getting the maintenance right takes the right information and the right equipment. Mercedes-Benz is the M in LTBM. Our certified technicians use dealer-level diagnostic equipment to read Mercedes-specific fault codes, and we use OEM-quality parts and fluids that meet Mercedes-Benz specifications.
One Mercedes owner who has had two cars serviced with us summed up the visit this way: "The staff is friendly, professional, and easy to work with."
Common Mercedes-Benz service needs
These are general patterns, and your owner's manual and service indicator are the final word for your car.
- Service A and Service B. Mercedes-Benz alternates a smaller Service A and a larger Service B, and the dashboard tells you which one is due. The exact list depends on model and year.
- Oil. Mercedes engines call for oil that meets the Mercedes-Benz approval listed for that engine. We match the approval, not just the viscosity.
- Brakes. Pad wear sensors put a warning on the dash when pads get thin. Brake fluid replacement is on the schedule by time.
- Air suspension. On models with it, a car that sits low after being parked usually points to a leak in an air spring or line.
- Batteries. Many Mercedes-Benz models carry a small auxiliary battery as well as the main one, and either can trigger a warning when it weakens.
- Warning lights. A check engine light or dash message gets a proper diagnosis with dealer-level equipment.
Factory maintenance that protects your warranty
In general, US federal law lets you have scheduled maintenance done at an independent shop without voiding your factory warranty, as long as the work follows the maker's schedule and specifications and you keep the records. This is general information, not legal advice; your warranty booklet has the details for your car. Warranty-safe factory maintenance is what we do: maker-spec parts and fluids, the maker's schedule, and records you can keep.

Questions we hear every week.
What is the difference between Service A and Service B?
Service A is the smaller visit, built around an oil and filter change and a set of checks. Service B adds more items, such as filter and brake fluid replacement. Your dashboard shows which one is due.
Why does my Mercedes show an auxiliary battery warning?
Many Mercedes-Benz models have a small auxiliary battery in addition to the main one. When it weakens, the car can show that warning. We test both batteries and the charging system before replacing anything.
My Mercedes sits low after being parked. What causes that?
On models with air suspension, sagging after sitting usually points to a leak in an air spring or line, or a valve problem. We inspect the system and quote the repair before any work.
