Toyota Repair in San Jose, CA
Toyota factory scheduled maintenance and repair to OEM spec by certified technicians, with a written estimate before any work.
Why a Toyota specialist matters
Toyotas have a reputation for running a long time, and that reputation depends on the maintenance behind it. A Camry, RAV4, Tacoma or Highlander that gets its scheduled service on time is a car you can keep for years. Toyota is the T in LTBM. Our certified technicians use dealer-level diagnostic equipment and follow the factory schedule for your model, whether it is a commuter car, a family SUV or a pickup.
Common Toyota service needs
These are general patterns, and your owner's manual is the final word for your car.
- Scheduled maintenance. Toyota schedules are typically set in 5,000 or 10,000 mile steps, and tire rotations and inspections come up often. Bigger milestones add fluid and filter replacements.
- Oil. Many recent Toyota engines call for a low-viscosity full-synthetic oil. The grade is on the oil filler cap and in your manual.
- Brakes. Pads and rotors wear with miles and stop-and-go traffic, and brake fluid has its own replacement interval.
- Trucks and four-wheel drive. On a Tacoma, Tundra or 4Runner with four-wheel drive, the differential and transfer case fluids are on the schedule, and the front suspension and steering parts take more load.
- Cooling system. The water pump, hoses and coolant deserve a close look as the miles climb.
- Warning lights. A check engine light gets diagnosed properly, so you fix the cause and not just the code.
Factory maintenance that protects your warranty
In general, US federal law lets you have scheduled maintenance done at an independent shop without voiding your factory warranty, as long as the work follows the maker's schedule and specifications and you keep the records. This is general information, not legal advice; your warranty booklet has the details for your car. Warranty-safe factory maintenance is what we do: maker-spec parts and fluids, the maker's schedule, and records you can keep.

Questions we hear every week.
Do you work on Toyota trucks and SUVs?
Yes. We service Toyota cars, trucks and SUVs, along with all other makes and models.
My Toyota has a lot of miles. Is it worth keeping up the maintenance?
In most cases, yes. Fresh fluids, filters and brakes on schedule are what let a high-mileage Toyota keep going. We inspect it and give you a written estimate, so you can weigh the cost before deciding.
Does my four-wheel-drive Toyota need extra service?
Usually, yes. Four-wheel-drive models have differential and transfer case fluids on the schedule. Your owner's manual lists the intervals, and we include them when they are due.
